Geoff was born and raised in Keokuk, Iowa. Attended Iowa State University and graduated with BS in Chemistry & Engineering Technology. He went to work for PPG Industries in Corpus Christi, TX in 1964. He also worked in Pittsburgh, PA, Minneapolis, MN, Cape Elizabeth, ME, Cherry Hill, NJ and Houston.
He and his wife Joan moved to Wimberley in 2003 and Geoff retired in 2004 as Senior Corporate Account Manager after 40 years of service. He and Joan, his wife of 47 years, have one surviving daughter living in Raeford, NC. They have 3 grandchildren in Raeford and two in Philadelphia. Geoff enjoys traveling, old cars and the occasional round of golf.
He is currently serving on the Session of the Wimberley Presbyterian Church, the Board of the Wimberley Players, the Board for the Saddleridge Property Owners Association and as Treasurer of the MCCW, which he joined in 2004. He not only enjoys the cuisine, but the opportunity to learn more about cooking from accomplished chefs, as well as the cameraderie that is shared at Cooking Club outings.
Geoff has retired from the club in May 2011. He and his wife Joan have moved to NC to be close to their Children and Grandchildren.
